Jon Stewart just keeps making history. First with the Rally to Restore Sanity, and now his ‘Daily Show’ has become the first late night talk show in a decade to beat out both ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ and ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ in the full-month average ratings for adult demos in October.

Also of note, for the first time since Leno took the ‘Tonight Show’ back from Conan O’Brien, Letterman has beaten him in all the ratings categories.
