Homeland Security shuts down dozens of Web sites without court order

The Homeland Security Department's customs enforcement division has gone on a Web site shutdown spree, closing down at least 76 domains this week, according to online reports.

While many of the web domains were sites that trafficked in counterfeit brand name goods, and some others linked to copyright-infringing file-sharing materials, at least one site was a Google-like search engine, causing alarm among web freedom advocates who worry the move steps over the line into censorship.

All the shut sites are now displaying a Homeland Security warning that copyright infringers can face up to five years in prison.

According to a report at TorrentFreak, the search engine that was shut down -- Torrent-Finder.com -- neither hosted copyrighted material nor directly linked to places where it could be found. Instead, the site opened new windows to sites that did link to file-sharing materials.

"When a site has no tracker, carries no torrents, lists no copyright works unless someone searches for them and responds just like Google, accusing it of infringement becomes somewhat of a minefield," writes Torrentfreak, "Unless you’re ICE Homeland Security Investigations that is."



As of its last update, Torrentfreak counted 76 domains shut down this week.

Homeland Security's ability to shut down sites without a court order evidently comes from the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a Clinton-era law that allows Web sites to be closed on the basis of a copyright complaint. Critics have long assailed the DMCA for being too broad, as complainants don't need to prove copyright infringement before a site can be taken down.

News of the shutdowns has some observers wondering whether the US really needs COICA, the anti-counterfeiting bill that passed through a Senate committee with unanimous approval last week. That bill would allow the federal government to block access to Web sites that attorneys general deem to have infringed on copyright.

"Domain seizures coming under the much debated ‘censorship bill’ COICA? Who needs it?" quips Torrentfreak.

However, COICA would allow the government to block access to Web sites located anywhere in the world, while Homeland Security's take-downs are limited to servers inside the United States. Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon said he would place a hold on COICA, effectively killing the bill at least until the new congressional session next year.

The owner of Torrent-Finder.net complained that his search engine was shut down without so much as a court order or prior complaint.

“My domain has been seized without any previous complaint or notice from any court!” the owner said, without being identified in the Torrentfreak article.

Earlier this week, Homeland Security shut down a popular hip-hop music site, RapGodfathers.com, which had nearly 150,000 members. The site claims it is compliant with copyright laws, as it doesn't host copyrighted materials. However, its users posted links to file-hosting services such as Rapidshare and Megaupload, where copyrighted material may have been shared.

These domains are now "the property of Homeland Security," writes Gareth Halfacree at Thinq.co.uk, "And there's no indication that their original owners will ever be able to get them back."

The 2010 Colorado Democratic Party platform (page 31/54), approved by the 146 member platform committee states:
“Whereas many disturbing facts were consciously ignored by the 9/11 Commission; Be it resolved, therefore, that the CDP calls for the establishment of a truly independent Grand Jury and public investigation into these and other anomalies in order to find the truth of the September 11, 2001 attacks, so that we have a greater probability of preventing attacks of this nature in the future.”
This controversial plank was added to the State Democratic Party Platform after evidence supporting the critical need for a new investigation was presented at several caucuses in 2004, 2008, and 2010.
The citizens who presented arguments for a new investigation at their precinct caucuses are signatories to the Architect and Engineers for 9/11 Truth organization (www.ae911truth.org) which calls for a new investigation into the events of September 11, 2001.
The quality of evidence contradicting the official 9-11 story is substantiated in part by the 2010 Platform Committee Chairman Hal Bidlack’s statement: “ ….this platform represents the consensus of the 2010 Platform Committee, guided by the results of county assemblies across our state. The folks who worked tirelessly on the Committee can rightly be proud of their efforts, and deserve our special thanks.” (Bidlack’s statement can be found on page one of the 2010 platform.)
In the upcoming Colorado election, Green Party U.S. Senatorial candidate Bob Kinsey and District One U.S. Representative candidate Gary Swing have publicly stated they would support a new investigation into the events of September 11, 2001.

In the face of a growing number of deaths and cases of HIV linked to drug abuse, the Portuguese government in 2001 tried a new tack to get a handle on the problem—it decriminalized the use and possession of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, LSD and other illicit street drugs. The theory: focusing on treatment and prevention instead of jailing users would decrease the number of deaths and infections.

Five years later, the number of deaths from street drug overdoses dropped from around 400 to 290 annually, and the number of new HIV cases caused by using dirty needles to inject heroin, cocaine and other illegal substances plummeted from nearly 1,400 in 2000 to about 400 in 2006, according to a report released recently by the Cato Institute, a Washington, D.C, libertarian think tank.

"Now instead of being put into prison, addicts are going to treatment centers and they're learning how to control their drug usage or getting off drugs entirely," report author Glenn Greenwald, a former New York State constitutional litigator, said during a press briefing at Cato last week.

Under the Portuguese plan, penalties for people caught dealing and trafficking drugs are unchanged; dealers are still jailed and subjected to fines depending on the crime. But people caught using or possessing small amounts—defined as the amount needed for 10 days of personal use—are brought before what's known as a "Dissuasion Commission," an administrative body created by the 2001 law.

Each three-person commission includes at least one lawyer or judge and one health care or social services worker. The panel has the option of recommending treatment, a small fine, or no sanction.

Peter Reuter, a criminologist at the University of Maryland, College Park, says he's skeptical decriminalization was the sole reason drug use slid in Portugal, noting that another factor, especially among teens, was a global decline in marijuana use. By the same token, he notes that critics were wrong in their warnings that decriminalizing drugs would make Lisbon a drug mecca.

"Drug decriminalization did reach its primary goal in Portugal," of reducing the health consequences of drug use, he says, "and did not lead to Lisbon becoming a drug tourist destination."

Walter Kemp, a spokesperson for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, says decriminalization in Portugal "appears to be working." He adds that his office is putting more emphasis on improving health outcomes, such as reducing needle-borne infections, but that it does not explicitly support decriminalization, "because it smacks of legalization."

Drug legalization removes all criminal penalties for producing, selling and using drugs; no country has tried it. In contrast, decriminalization, as practiced in Portugal, eliminates jail time for drug users but maintains criminal penalties for dealers. Spain and Italy have also decriminalized personal use of drugs and Mexico's president has proposed doing the same. .

A spokesperson for the White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy declined to comment, citing the pending Senate confirmation of the office's new director, former Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowske. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs also declined to comment on the report.

Jesse Ventura to air JFK assassination deathbed confession

TruTV will air the first TV program to put forward admissions from those involved, and probe deep into the proofs of a conspiracy

	Long-time prober of the JFK assassination, Jesse Ventura will have his first chance to prove on television that a conspiracy, not a lone gunman, killed Kennedy. The proof includes a shocking audio confession and much more; airs this Fri, Nov. 19 at 10 PM EST / 9 PM CST

In the next episode of thehard-hitting second season ofConspiracy Theory, former Governor Jesse Ventura will take on what he has long regarded as the most significant event of his generation and the 60s era– the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The program will air this Friday, Nov. 19 at 10 PM EST / 9 PM CST, just days before the 47th anniversary of the iconic president’s death. But TruTV will air more than just memories and heated debate about the grassy knoll. For the first time ever on television, viewers will witness, at last, a confession in one of the most-controversial murders in all of history.

A “major figure” from recent U.S. history admits to involvement in the plot in an audio tape that will blow audiences away. The source names names, and Lee Harvey Oswald isn’t on the list. According to the show’s producers, Ventura’s team has even established new evidence that suggests the individuals allegedly involved in the assassination have powerful ties that even go as high as former President and former CIA director George H. W. Bush. Is this the key at last to why the media has been so reluctant to admit that someone else was shooting at Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963?

	Ventura qualified as an expert shot while in naval special forces training, and qualified again as an expert during his term as Governor in Minnesota, yet he could not duplicate the time and accuracy of Oswald’s fateful shots.

In the course of the episode, Jesse Ventura, a former Navy SEAL and Underwater Demolitions expert, attempts to recreate Oswald’s alleged shooting that day. He tracked down the exact make and model, as well as ammunition stock that the Warren Commission claims Oswald used. But despite the fact that Ventura qualified as an expert shot while in naval special forces training, and qualified again as an expert during his term as Governor in Minnesota, he could not duplicate the time and accuracy of Oswald’s fateful shots. Yet Lee Harvey Oswald only qualified as a “marksman,” two grades lower than Ventura. (Witnesses who shot with Oswald have said for years that he had “Maggie’s drawers”—that he frequently missed the target and generally did not meet the high standards of a serviceman.)

The House Select Committee on Assassinations matched Ventura’s findings back in 1978. Their investigation found a 95% or higher probability that John F. Kennedy was killed by more than one assassin, concluding that indeed a conspiracy took place, and debunking the rushed conclusions of the 1964 Warren Commission that Oswald acted alone. However, nearly half a century later, the media has continued to promote the lone gunman theory, even in spite of a skeptical public. The motives behind this mass-misconception are deep and probing indeed, and Ventura has been questioning the official account for many years now.

	Images released by TruTV show that Ventura acts out the official account of Oswald’s shooting; then talks to a number of experts at Dealey Plaza, the site of the JFK assassination, including Jim Marrs, prominent researcher and frequent guest on the Alex Jones Show.

Control Through The Food

Yet that is exactly what The Food Safety Act wants to do…

              GMO’s are Genetically Modified Organisms. They are seeds, and food additives that are man made or cross bred between species  in a laboratory. In general they allow food growers to grow more of something at a cheaper cost. The trade for that is the destruction of our health, and every other living thing on the food chain. Obviously the price is too high, yet the companies that make GMO’s are trying to pass laws that will make it illegal to grow anything that is not from GMO’s.

               Codex Alimentarius is a committee formed by the UN in the 1960’s to regulate international standards on food production. That was its official duty, however like many UN / Rothschild schemes, there was an ulterior motive. Their true goal is to benefit large corporations, obliterate small farmers, and regulate in the secret agenda of the world government. It’s been quite successful over the last four or more decades at killing small farmers, small corporations, and is poised for final victory. The criminalization of growing your own food!

               There is an even more sinister part of this plan. It has to do with controlled population control. By controlling the population of people through the food that you give them. You can make them increasingly sicker, and you can also control which populations of people ultimately live or die.

            The goal of these “supranational sovereignty” planners is to create an efficient money making machine for themselves, that funnels all the world’s profits to them in the most efficient way possible. Also in a way that is self sustainable. This idea of sustainability is key. They believe that the optimum level for this will be to only have 500 million people on the planet. Thus they have called for and begun what they are calling “The Great Culling”.

            That will mean the mass extinction of 6.5 billion people. Too much for any one war, or event. Instead they have decided to “soft kill”, or slowly kill people over time, by gradually weakening people’s immune systems. When people’s immune systems are gone you can kill them with the slightest cold germ, and be held blameless. In fact they will say that the people did it to themselves by allowing use of toxic chemicals over a long period of time. The perfect crime.

                Einstein has said that when the bee’s die, within 5 years, the people of the earth will die too. Well, the bees are dying. It is believed to be related to the GMO pesticides, and food that is made unnaturally in a test tube. These GMO’s allow for what is called soft kill. You can kill everybody if you just do it slow enough. Most people will not even realize they are dying until it’s too late. The key is to destroy the immune system. Eventually they will die from simple germs, and the true criminals never have to act upon them or deal with their resistance.

              If you are old enough, you may remember a time when your throat wasn’t sore all the time? Why is it that you think rates of Autism, Cancer, and Mental Illness, are climbing so. How much longer will you wait? How much sicker do they need to make you, before you believe that this is real? How long before you stand up for yourself, and stand up for your children?

          Be more careful what food you buy. Support companies who use non GMO and non irradiated foods. Support the opposition to implementation of Codex Alimentarius. This is an international effort run through the United Nations, which has been slowly, over the last several decades been trying to change countries food regulations to support GMO grown food over natural foods, and vitamin supplements. Spearheaded by big money corporations, like Monasanto they seek to regulate smaller companies and individual farms out of existence. They have been successful in many countries around the world and soon similar regulations making non GMO foods ( natural ) illegal are likely to go into effect here.

           The time to speak up and voice your opposition is now. You need to let your representatives know that you do not want them voting for anything that contains Codex Alimentarius regulations. Let your friends know too, and check the food that you buy to see whether it is being made with GMO seeds. You will be surprised at just how much of what most people eat has been genetically modified.

             To make greater profits, companies are developing “terminator seeds” technology. Natural seeds yield a crop that grows back each year. Those a good farmer can get many good seasons out of a bag of seeds. A healthy crop will replenish itself. This however is not profitable to seed companies. Terminator seeds however, last only one season. Each year farmers will be forced to purchase new seeds. This drives up the price of farming, and the price you pay on the shelves. To those on the darkside, this is merely business.

           The long term health effects of Codex Alimentarius, terminator seeds, and GMO’s cannot be known. We do know however that cancer, autism, and neurological disease rates are rising. Time is running out, both in our outside world, and inside us.

            Dr. Leonard Horowitz has devoted his life work to exposing that wall street bankers, population planners, and scientists, favorable to the globalists depopulation agenda, have been purposely infiltrated into every level of government, both here in the United States, and around the world. Toxins meant to dumb down, sterilize, and slow kill most of the world population, are being exposed to people, primarily through vaccinations.

           Vaccine depopulation in the western world, works by destroying the immune system response slowly, over time. Live toxins, neurological agents, cancer causing chemicals, and adjuvants are mixed in with the supposed regular vaccine. An adjuvant

( in theory ) is a chemical agent that is added to a vaccine to strengthen the vaccine’s potency against whatever the vaccine is protecting you from.  Thus, if the vaccine is for something like the flu, the adjuvant is used to make it stronger at killing the flu virus. It can, however, have harmful effects on other cells in the body. Many adjuvants are known now to have carcinogenic, and neurological effects. The vaccine makers know this and still use them. Why? Because they want to depopulate you!

          Some vaccine makers throw in high levels of adjuvants, or even live viruses and cancers. Some are from humans, and some are from animals. The effects are the same. A slow kill, and culling of the world’s population, profitably. The sicker you become, the more drugs you have to buy.

        Billionaires like Bill Gates are financing development of alternative means of vaccination, since the number of people refusing vaccinations is skyrocketing. They reportedly are looking at using nanotechnology to put vaccines in food, and even in mosquitoes., and deliver the toxins by stealth, without the need for a person’s consent.

          Many of the biggest depopulationists sit on the boards of the drug companies, government agencies, the media, and financial institutions. They have even disguised philanthropic organizations to do the exact opposite of what the public thinks the organization is there for.

            My heart weeps when it thinks about the evilness of some of these people. They have plotted and schemed for hundreds of years. While the people toiled and slept, darkness grew up around them. As Wayne Dyer has said, this will be the first generation that will have a shorter life expectancy than their parents. This  will also be a generation that will not make as much , per capita, as their parents did. They will have more toxins and releases of toxic chemicals, such as the oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico or depleted uranium used in bombs, bullets, and all the weapons we spread around the world.
